This is a 2002 frame with 2005 GSXR 1000 front forks/radially mounted brakes/wheel. It has a GSXR 750 rear wheel.{5.5 ' wide}. The front end has Traxxion Dynamics springs and valving. The rear has a Penske double clicker and a Hypercoil spring. It has EBC iron ductil front rotors. Steel braided brake lines.
Its gauges are SPA. Triple Tree is an Attack specifically for the upgraded front end. Attack rear subframe. Ohlines steering damper. Woodcraft rear-sets and clip-ons. PWR aluminum radiator. Micron titanium exhaust system.
The engine is a Greg Spears built unit. Its has, Carillo rods, balanced crank, lightened flywheel with total loss ignition system, Megacycle cams, 325X1 and 325X2. With the intake cam having a valve lift of .370" and a duration of 252 degrees, and the exhaust cam having a valve lift of .353" and a duration of 246 degrees. The cams are of course fitted with adjustable sprockets. The valve springs are heavy duty as are the retainers, from APE. The valves are stock from Suzuki. He used cylinder head studs and nuts from APE. Manuel cam chain tensioners from APE. He used his own pistons that are 1 mm over bore for reliability. The engine breaths through 41 mm Keihin Flat CR Carburetors, and needs VP C-12 to run. The engine is fitted with a Barnett clutch to get the power to the trans. The engine was Dyno tested and is making 84.1 h.p. with a max torque of 50.2 at 9500 r.p.m.
The greatest care was taken in setting up this engine, and entire bike for that matter. This is not your average SV 650. This is a true Lightweight Superbike! The engine has a season and a half of racing on it since its last freshening with all new bearings, pistons, rings, seals, valve adjust, etc. I would only race two races a weekend with this bike and that was only at Summit Point. I wouldn't travel. Point being, there really isn't a lot of time on the engine.
